“Antique Farmhouse Style Grandfather Chair”
 
This 19th century chair, made from Elm & Beech is also known as a fireside chair and would have been used by the gentleman of the house to sit by the fireside and smoke his pipe!
 
The piece stands on four turned legs with a single stretcher, the arms and lath-back again feature turned supports, the saddle seat is gorgeously weathered/worn and the hues and tone colouration from many years of loved wear, really compliments this historical piece of furniture.
 
This furniture is representative of its period and previous use.
Consequently the piece may show minor signs of wear which will
commensurate with its age and preloved condition.
